June 15, 2006 Nous Infosystems a global IT solutions provider, has achieved Maturity level 5 rating on the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), said a release. The achievement makes Nous join the elite band of 210 organizations worldwide that have achieved this benchmark as per recent SEI data. Commenting on the achievement, Ajith Pillai, President and CEO, Nous, said "This is an additional feather in our cap on our 10th anniversary." Added Mr. Kris Puthucode of SQC, who assessed the organization, "Nous is an organization with a strong motivation to achieve excellence in quality. Particularly laudable among then is the ability to use CMMI model and its practices effectively to suit the organizations projects".
